Meteo Group
At 10:30 and 14:30 each day, Meteo Group will be demonstrating Portcast - a new and innovative weather forecasting service for Ports and the near shore environment. Visit them on Stand 19 to find out more about this exciting new product.
MFC Survival
At 10:30 on the Wednesday, MFC will be demonstrating their inflatable motorised Rescue Sled live on the water. Come along to see how this works or visit them on stand 83 to find out more information. There will be an opportunity to have a go on the Rescue Sled so speak to stand personnel to have a go!
Searchwise Limited
On the Quayside near the dive tank, Searchwise will be holding a demonstration at 10:30 and 14:30 lasting about 30 minutes. They will be showing their unique way of cutting steel using "Petrogen", a method of oxygen and petrol vapour creating a cutting torch technique. This process is vastly safer than Oxyacet and Oxypropane. Visit the quayside to learn more about this new method!
HMS BLAZER IS AT SEAWORK
This year is the second time the Royal Navy will be visiting the show and HMS Blazer is planned to be secured on the pontoon berth. She is a 54 ton, 21 metre Training and Patrol Craft of the Archer Class, with a crew of 5. She will be open to visitors at the exhibition.
Not only is she visiting on behalf of the Royal Navy, but in addition she can provide a show case for companies who have equipment installed on board. It is also intended for her to conduct short 20 / 30 minute sea experience cruises around the Southampton Docks during the daytime, and the intention is for these to depart every hour from 10:00 until 16:00 except for 13:00. She can carry a maximum of 20 visitors on each trip. If you wish to visit the ship during the exhibition for one of the voyages, please go to HMS Blazer by five minutes to the hour. If you wish to look around the vessel or meet the crew, please go to the ship between half past and five minutes to each hour.
She will also be taking the students visiting the Maritime Training and Careers Pavilion on short harbour tours including a full tour of the boat so that they can get to see the advanced technology on board.
