Mainrom Line officially launched its container shipping services on June 6th, after starting operations during July last year. The company invested 10 million Euros in a regular transport system providing two round trips Giurgiu-Constanta per week. Mainrom's fleet is currently composed of pusher ”Shadow“ and two barges of 100 TEU capacity, but 3 more barges are to be added soon.
„We already have quite a nice growth and we offer an alternative to the current situation. We are very happy that our prices are better, that we can be punctual, and that we are more environmental friendly than road transport“, said Orit Rishpi Lavi, CEO Mainrom Line.
