April 9th: the Regional Development Agency for Bucharest-Ilfov (ADRBI, in Romanian) and Bucharest Commerce and Industry Chamber launched a regional programme to support the Micro enterprises’ development, using European funds.

The call for projects aims at encouraging a greater participation to using the Bucharest-Ilfov region resources and to take greater benefits out of the new technologies or IT equipments, to increase the competitiveness and productivity.

”The financial allotment addresses the Micro enterprises with no more than 9 employees and with a social capital of no more than 2 million euro. The company is due to have completed a tax year, meaning to have been created before 2007“, said Dan Nicula, the president of ADRBI.

Yet, the transport companies will not receive more than 100.000 euros. The low funding in the Bucharest-Ilfov region is due to its rather well developed stage, unlike other industrial regions, that will benefit from greater financing.
