The distance between kindergarten and the child’s parent is often a difficult, stressful and time-consuming issue, which could be eliminated if the employer takes the responsibility of having establishing a kindergarten owned by the company.

In the idea of combining family responsibilities with those at work, last month the Parliament had the initiative of a procedure that gives companies the opportunity to establish their own kindergartens for the employees’ children. Although the idea isn’t a brand new one, it brings quality to the commercial environment in our country, as the companies are to become even more competitive, after their management becomes more aware of the employees’ needs. Before moving to the establishment of a unit of private education, it is recommendable to consider the requirements of space and funding, together with the survey among employees about their family situation, age, number of children, distance from home, etc., details that would help management to take a well-founded decision.
