Afisari: 214

DB Schenker, through its Austrian subsidiary, Schenker&Co AG, sub- mitted a takeover offer to Romtrans shareholders last month. After they met in September, Romtrans shareholders have a period up to the end of October 2008 to accept the offer. The transaction could still conclude in December this year, provided shareholders accept the offer and obtaining necessary approvals from the authorities.

DB Schenker, with a turnover of around 18 billion Euros, over 88,000 employees and more than 2,000 locations in over 130 countries world- wide, is the transport and logistics division of the German railways, Deutsche Bahn. Through DB Schenker, Deutsche Bahn has the experi- ence of the largest rail freight operator in Europe, the densest European network of land transport, and the top position worldwide in the field of air transport and maritime logistics.
