Representatives of the CENAFER say that using the simulator at the initiation session for the practice at the end of the professional training as train dispatcher and shift operator might ensure the knowledge transfer that approach unforeseen situations and also tackling some issues the trainee may face in his prospective activity. Thanks to the simulators, the periodic control might involve any possible scenario. Eventually, the automatic, objective evaluation shows the real professional abilities for each employee.
The SimCED simulator is designed and developed as an informatics systems network. The communication is ensured amongst a computer that provides the simulation process application and more working places, locally connected or on the internet, on which runs a simulation application of a central electrodynamics installation with CED relays.
Simulating the real moving of the train allows the operator to get the professional experience both in conditions of normal interaction between the centralization and rail process environment and in the abnormal conditions influenced by the malfunctions at the installations, railways damages or by the wrong driving of the trains and convoys.
