Credit insurance - a shield for uncollected invoice

RBT editia nr. 10/August 2007 Articol adaugata la, 03 August 2007 ( RBT )
Afisari: 207

In Romania, credit insurance is a new product promoted by only three insurance companies - BCR Asigur?ri, Coface Romania and Asiban.

This product is destined only to companies, covering many fields of activity (transport, manufacturing etc).

The insurance company compensates a company contracting such a policy when a customer doesn’t pay an invoice. Such payment incidents often affect transporters: they carry the goods, but this service isn’t payed on time.
