While writing these thoughts, the elected President takes back his palace and office, after a month of May in which we witnessed a strange campaign - ”one vs. 322“. We also witnessed interesting facts about the hidden activity of transport related clerk. For instance, we’ve been told that many road infrastructure projects got stuck in early stages no less than a year and a half. It’s hard to tell if this kind of disclosures are liar attacks against the ex-clerks from the wrong party or genuine things. What is for certain is Transport Ministry’s feverish and really more opened activity. Ludovic Orban managed a tour de force last month, meeting with transporters’ many representatives. He made a lot of promises, constantly repeating a government programme full of ambitious goals.
Then came 19th of May, and everything stumbled in front of future’s unknown factors: the same Orban gave the tone when he said the some liberals want to take their hands off the government’s helm. A surprise blow at a time when newly appointed pen pushers seemed ready to start working to make minister’s promises come true.
If the government falls, any promise or well-intentioned change will be brushed away with an elections sponge. Some months will come and pass with nothing important on the addenda - nothing except the battle for political power.
If the government does not fall, its activity will be marked by a constantstruggle to pass laws in a Parliament with too many interests and no dominant force.
Two losing scenarios...
