RBT editia nr. 10/August 2007 Articol adaugata la, 03 August 2007 ( RBT )
Afisari: 191

The Ministry of Transports has developed a project for increasing some of the taxes that the Romanian Naval Authority (ANR) is collecting from the river and maritime operators.

The fare increases has been commanded by the introduction of the system that supervises and conducts the Danube traffic (VTMIS - Vessel Traffic Management and Information Service).

The projected new fares for ship registration will jump from 250 Euros to 350 Euros (in the case of ships with more than 15 tons of gross tonnage), and from 80 Euros to 100 Euros for smaller ships. For the pleasure boats, the tax will rise to 60 Euros, from the current 10-50 Euros.
