GEBRUDER WEISS INVESTS 15 MILLIONS EUROS IN THEIR OWN LOGISTICAL CENTER

Gebruder Weiss will extend their national distribution network and a first step to the process is building an ecologic logistics center in Bucharest. It will be located at the 23rd KM of Bucuresti-Pitesti highway, on a 70.000 square meters base.

The new logistics center is to be inaugurated on next years` March, and the overall investment goes up to 15 millions Euros, 2,7 millions Euros being allotted to the base`s purchase.

Viorel Leca, Country Manager Gebrüder Weiss, said that the center would meet all demands in terms of goods safety, required by the international standards. The company`s strategy includes a cross-docking network development (with two new bases in Bacau and Sibiu) and that of a transport offices network (in Constantza, Cluj, Bacau and Sibiu).
