GOOD NEWS FROM THE WEST

RBT editia nr. 21/Iulie 2008 Articol adaugata la, 02 Iulie 2008 ( RBT )
Afisari: 236

On the second day of the Transport-AR fair, the meeting between the legislative and control authorities in road transport and the operators brought about lots of contradictory issues, together with the conveyance of some great progress in improving the transporters treatment.
Opinions came from Laszlo Sajtos, general director at Romanian Road Authority (ARR) and 3 representatives of Nemzeti Közlekedési Hatóság (NKH - National Transport Authority in Hungry), and on the other side, Romanian transporters. Of course, the main topics revolved around the rightness of Hungarian authorities checks, labeled as abusive by the Romanian transport operators.

The conclusions, after heated debates: the only way to a better treatment to Romanian haulers are amiable discussions with the Hungarian authorities and not hunting back the Hungarian transporters by the Romanian transit surveyors. Furthermore, there will no more seizure of the trucks until the fine’s paying and this is a sign of normality.
