The grants mean incentives for carrying out an operation that could not be executed without the financial support of the Community and, also, they reflect the principle of co-financing. As such, the grant will be between 10% and 50% of the total eligible costs of the project.
The categories of operations are meant to:
- teaching, training and learning the operators of road traffic;
- research and dissemination of good practice;
- coordination and harmonization of standards and procedures.
Grant requests are to be forwarded to the Directorate General Transport and Energy until August 18th, and the selection of the winning projects is scheduled in September.
