The NELI project (Cooperation-Network for logistics and nautical education focusing on Inland Waterway Transport in the Danube corridor supported by innovative solutions) kick-off meeting took place last month in Constanta.

The NELI project aims at creating a cooperation platform consisting of education & training and administrative organisations, leading to joint and international activities in the field of education and training, eLearning and Information and Training Centres for the inland waterway sector in the South East Europe region.

In order to reach its major goal, the NELI project will establish a cooperation network of education & training organisations working in the field of inland waterway transport (IWT). It will also design and implement eLearning services for inland navigation aiming at a reduction of the digital divide among the regions in South East Europe. Last but not least, it will establish and demonstrate Information and Training Centres.
