According to experts, the largest share of expenditure goes for the appropriate logistics activities in the overall costs of companies’ import and distribution. Yet, it is possible to increase the efficiency of this process by covering all activities related to procurement, transport, storage and goods transshipment in logistical operations. However, logistics costs are affected by phenomena such as increased fuel prices and delays arising from international laws and increasingly complex security measures that threaten to prolong the time of delivery and to raise the cost of storage.
