A survey conducted by ProLogis investigated the conditions of the transport networks in Central and Eastern Europe. The report exam- ines the transformations taking place in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe as they take actions to create a network of modern highways, adapted to increasingly intense traffic of trucks, as well as entrances, exits and transits transport of goods in the region, while adopting plans for the next ten years.

According to ProLogis study there are four new transportation corridors distribution that appear in the region with the modernization of the infrastructure.

”Although some countries have made more progress than others, new corridors of distribution is growing rapidly in the region to cope with the transport of goods more intense, not only between EEC countries, but also with the rest of the world,“ states the study.
