TRANSPORTS MINISTRY WILL CERTIFY CIVIL AIRPORTS

Airports are to be evaluated by commissions appointed by order of the minister of Transports. Evaluation commissions are to include three representatives of the Transports Ministry, two representatives of the Interior Ministry, one representative from the Finance Ministry, one from the Health Ministry and one from the Agriculture Ministry. The draft also states that starting the date when Romania applies the Schengen acquis fully, flights between Romanian airports and other airports applying the acquis will be considered domestic flights.
