RBT editia nr. 24/Octombrie 2008 Articol adaugata la, 10 Octombrie 2008 ( RBT )
Afisari: 224

Employer’s ”eyes“ are now everywhere: computer, video camera or GPS systems have become tools in monitoring employees’ work. In order to eliminate losses and increase productivity, more and more employers redouble their efforts to supervision and development of technology helps to keep his neck employees.

According to a research done by the Internet portal www.HR- Romania.ro, monitoring activities are aimed at one employee out of every two. If the transportation and distribution businesses use main- ly satellite positioning, the cited study shows that permanent video monitoring is the most common (52,89% of cases).

In the field of transport and distribution, GPS positioning is a method of reducing costs by discouraging the use of the vehicle in an inappro- priate manner, whether it’s through a route longer than that deter- mined or simply the driver uses the car for personal purposes.
