This view is contained in a background note of a draft decision from the government, developed by MTI for adopting the 2009-2013 National Strategy for road safety.
The coordination of the strategy’s implementation will be provided by the Ministerial Council for Road Safety (CISR, in Romanian). In the Council there will be security county committees for Road Safety. Among the CISR members there will be officials of the Ministry of Justice, Public Ministry and the Superior Council of Magistrates.
Within six months after the decision’s publication, the Ministerial council will approve through the decision the Action Plan for the strategy’s implementation, which will specify also the identified funding sources to meet the objectives.
